So I was just watching The View (I know, I know) and they had "General Tommy Franks" on. He really really really scared me on two points.

Scary views that help explain why people hate the U.S. Government (I'm paraphrasing):
GTF: OK, so we invaded EE-rack (shudder) and didn't find any Weapons of Mass Destruction, but it's not like we shouldn't have gone in. If we hadn't gone in, then Saddam may have built Weapons of Mass Destruction, and then he might be able to attack us.
More intelligent View women: Wait, so this was a pre-emptive war? Do you support pre-emptive wars?
GTF: Well, we can either attack them there, or if we don't, they might attack us here, so it's better to attack them first
View women after losing brain cells: Thank you, you're an excellent dude, and I worship you, despite the rep/dem difference between us.

SHUDDER. Under this rationale, the entire world is up for attack due to the fact that someone might possibly want to attack us.

I was preparing to blog about monogamy after the interesting Peter Krause interview preceeding scary republican man, but I think that is gonna have to wait.
